***Friday, the 13th, Confessions***

I'm rearranging my trial schedule so I can go to a Todd Snider concert later this month.

All of these cases were going to settle out of court anyways, but I still feel a little bad about it.

That sucks man. Hope you find a new one you like quickly.

 Sorry to hear that dude. Any good leads on new positions?

BURN THE PLACE DOWN!

Lol thanks guys. I do actually have a few applications out there. We have been slow for quite awhile. We had talked of going to half time a few months back but we kept just getting enough work to keep us busy. That at least gave me the opportunity to get the resume up to date, etc. It wasn't a surprise but it definitely wasn't expected this past Wednesday. My bosses are great though...Would recommend them to anyone..great friends and now "family". That will be the toughest part.

On a side note if anyone knows of any opportunities...let me know! I worked in computer networking, wireless engineering, and customer support for a few years but have been working in the civil engineering field (survey, CAD, and site design work) for the last 6. Well rounded but not specialized really. And yea a B.S. in Psych too lol. /shamelessplug

Couldn't go to work this morning due to the rain. Boss said he would call when the rain stopped. I want to call him and tell him to pack it in so I can start drinking.

That always sucks when u have to start work mid morning or around noon. I used to do commercial roofing and I always used to get my hopes up when I would see rain in the forcast on fridays in hope of getting the day off. Those hopes were sometimes bashed when it would quit early morning and still had to work. Such a depressing feeling!

Yup I do framing and roofing. Boss man just called. Going in at noon. Don't even get a lunch break.

Update from the pooper: while enjoying my time, another fellow proceeds to sit in the stall adjacent to me, moan and struggle for a few minutes, drop the timber, fail to do any cleaning, and then leave without washing his hands. Man... That's messed up

Yeah, my bad.

Always bad to happen on friday. Cause you know that you will prolly be working later since you got started late. Sucks when it happens.

I did this all the time when I worked landscaping. Usually, I'd have to clean the barn or organize stuff in there for a few hours, then I'd get sent home. The best was when I'd get sent home, and then 30 minutes later the rain would stop, but everyone had already gone home for the day.

Ducking out of work early with a buddy for some El Bait Shop action followed by a long night of whiskey and NCAA 2013 :wideeyed:

I can't stand the massive Gaming & Hobbies threads pluggin' up the front page my Cyclone Sports site.

Maybe you're just a little jealous you don't have anything massive of your own to plug up stuff with?

So...I thought that you had to specifically request being a member of the Gaming and Hobbies to have it show up on your forums page. Am I wrong on this?

Wow. Sure didn't talk long for all of the nerds to come out of the woodwork. Just say the words "Gaming and Hobbies threads" apparently sets off the ******* bat-signal.
