Thanks so much to @WhatchaGonnaDo for today’s topic!

“If you could go back in time and see anyone in concert, who would you see?”

My personal answers are (each in their prime):

- Bowie
- Prince
- Rolling Stones

What are yours?

I'm going to do 2 categories:

Bands I never saw: Van Halen with David Lee Roth, Journey, Beatles

Bands I have seen: Triumph, Genesis, Rush

I think I'd like to see a bunch of different bands when they were just getting going.

Like Elvis or Buddy Holly when they were playing in gymnasiums.

Bands I haven't seen: Prince, The Police, early Genesis w/ Peter Gabriel

Bands I have seen: Rush, Springsteen, The GoGos (no seriously, imagine seeing the GoGos in Peoples. and partying with them afterwards...)
Whoa, they played there?!?!

Jimi Hendrix
But preferably not the time the Experience was the opening act for the Monkees. Talk about an inverted mismatch.

Prince
Pink Floyd (either just before or at the release of DSTM
Mozart - Any symphony. I'd love to experience how music was heard back then.

The Stones in '78 - check
The Who w/Moon - check
The Clash - check
Jimmy Page (w/Paul Rodgers, not Zep) - check
CSN, Clapton, Dylan ('70's) - checks

Gotta go with The Grateful Dead or a Neil Young & Crazy Horse jamfest.

Further back - Jimi, Floyd, Allman Bros.

Premier of Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique
Jerry Lee Lewis when he set a piano on fire (if that actually ever happened)
Beatles rooftop show
The Who @ Woodstock
Van Halen 1983 US Festival
Queen Wembley 1986
Korn Woodstock '99
