I have a playlist called “Guilty Pleasures - S****y Songs I Can’t Quit.”

It is filled with songs that I empirically know are not art, or even quality. But that doesn’t stop me from loving the hell out of them.

Here are a few of mine - what are your guilty pleasure songs?

I have a soft spot for Guns n' Roses.
I grew up listening to them and a lot of their stuff has aged terribly, but I love the riffs and Slash is still one of my favorite guitar players.

I'm struggling with this one, because I think it is all art, just not necessarily popular. If I switch the question to songs that I wouldn't play with other people around, that's most of my catalog lol

I will listen to the old girl bands when I am stressed out. Bangles and Go-Go’s. Vacation isn’t exactly Grammy material but lifts my mood. And of course, always a fan of Miley’s Party in the USA.

That was not my experience, but they were sandwiched between Shinedown and Avenged Sevenfold, so they had some tough competition on either side.

Had to go back and look for this one.

It was Buckcherry, Papa Roach, and Hinder.

Somehow Hinder was the headliner and ******* awful. I don't like Papa Roach. I remember them being hella angry about sound restrictions.

So maybe they just stood out in that bad lineup, but I remember Buckcherry walking out and looking rough. Then just killing it.
