I'll add Laurel and Hardy to the list since I haven't seen them mentioned. And Monty Python has some elements of physical comedy, despite being mostly verbal.

To expand the guidelines a bit, there are a number of comedians that accentuate their humor by being a little flamboyant. Kevin Hart wouldn't be Kevin Hart without being as animated as he is.

Hey @SCyclone this may be more our time as kids. I haven't looked for clips. The Red Skelton show on Saturday nights as I recall. His mime routines made me laugh even though they were probably intended for viewers of my parents' age. Nothing bad or ribald, just good old-fashioned funny. With no words and lots of facial expressions and overacting, you couldn't help but pay attention. Ahh, I miss that type of comedy.

John Belushi didn't get as physical as Chris Farley but stuff like Samurai Deli and the Blues Brothers required his physicality to punch up the comedy, which it did.

I'm not an avid watcher anymore but it occurs to me that I think SNL is a lot less physical than in the early years. Martin, Belushi, Chase, all had really funny physical bits...and The Land Shark is one of the greatest bits...
John Belushi as Joe Cocker is tremendous. It's probably considered to be offensive now but Joe Cocker did sing with John Belushi while Belushi was imitating him during one skit.

.....and I immediately thought of the Carol Burnett Show. As funny as you can imagine, with no profanity, no sexual references, just really hilarious stuff. Highlights included watching Tim Conway try to make Harvey Korman laugh during their sketches together. (He usually succeeded! :))

Jackie Gleason.

This was the first one that came to my mind too. Burt Reynolds may have been the name star as the Bandit but Jackie IMO had the best performance as Sheriff Buford T Justice. He had plenty other roles too but he just had so many great scenes in that movie I find myself quoting at times.

The talent that Belushi had was crazy. To think of what the world missed out on over the last 40 years......

There was a episode of Frasier in which Kelsey Grammer and David Hyde Pierce , buy a restaurant together, the whole episode was physical comedy, Two actors that you don't associate with physical comedy that can do it very well.
