Are there any kids' shows that you actually love? My avatar is from "Gravity Falls" - we started watching it with our daughter when she was 3 or 4, and we just love it and were bummed when it ended.

My son turns two in a week so we are just starting to wade into that world but I am a big fan of Chuggington right now.

That song will get firmly entrenched in your brain!

When my kids were littler I enjoyed iCarly. I'll still ask to watch it with them if we see it on, but we dont' watch much TV anymore.

Movie side, we enjoy the Pirates of the Carribean series and will watch those again and again.

My kids have kind of outgrown it so I don't watch it much anymore, but I genuinely thought Phineas & Ferb was one of the best shows on tv when they were into it. I could sit down and kill a couple hours watching it if I had the time, often without the kids.

A long time ago, we happened across Bear and the Big Blue House on tv and kinda got sucked in to watching it for no particular reason. I personally loved Pip and Pop, the purple otters.

I forgot Phineas and Ferb - love that one!!

I haven't had small kids around regularly for a VERY long time...when the grandkids visit and watch tv, the highpitched, whiny voices of many of the characters just grate on my ears. I let them watch, and I tune it out. :)
Now, as far a childish pleasures are concerned - I will never give up my love of going outside when big floofy flakes are falling, and catching them on my tongue. :D

Spongebob cracks me up. Also, my daughter watches a show called Henry Danger, and it is also usually good for a few laughs per show.

My 6-year-old and 2-year-old are OBSESSED with Henry Danger. There are a few moments here and there that slay me.

When our oldest son was younger, we bought the Looney Toons "Golden Collection" of DVDs. It's like 12 discs of the old Bugs Bunny, etc. cartoons. Both of our sons have watched the heck out them, and I love watching them, too. There is a lot of bonus material on them, too, including turning on commentary during the cartoons, so you can listen to them discuss what's going on. I love that stuff.

There was an updated "Looney Tunes Show" on Boomerang (?) a few years ago that we loved, but then the channel got dropped in our DirecTV package. It was a very clever, funny update.

If I can think of any it might be Despicable Me and Wreck It Ralph movies. I mean who doesn't find the minions funny right?

Have a daughter that turns 3 in a couple months, thankfully she isn't really into TV shows much right now and would rather play and usually doesn't pay too much attention sometimes when we do have something on for her. But when she does it's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Paw Patrol, Doc McStuffins or the movie Frozen. After seeing Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episodes far more times on the DVR than I care to, I find myself making sarcastic remarks now how certain things in the episodes are not logical which provides some comic relief because it drives my wife nuts "don't make fun of your daughter's shows and ruin it for her!" She knows I'm not serious and just joking around though :)
