Saw this article about Kevin Garnett's future in Minnesota. He mentions that Hoiberg was in contact with him about possibly getting Allen Iverson a few weeks ago. I know he is being groomed to take over for McHale, but it's a nice confirmation that he is really involved in the inner workings of the team.

KG and Freddie are pretty tight.

Last year i was at a baseball game where one of Fred's kids was playing (one of my friend's kid was on another team), and KG came out to the game just to watch Fred's kid. Can't imagine KG does that for many other kids.
