Fraschilla vs KU

I love that Fran fans the flames and refuses to apologize for calling things as he sees them. I've heard him give A TON of credit to KU, and rightfully so, just like he'll call out something he doesn't like. He's done the same thing with us, and pretty much every other team I've seen him cover. They just don't like that he won't unequivocally declare all things KU the best.

That's what makes him great at what he does.

Honestly earlier this year I thought he was going to easy on them.

What was this in reply to? I don't see a story there to read?

Judging by the pissy comments to his tweet, he said something about them getting favorable calls a lot during WVa game. Also mentioned they lost to us in Phog apparently, which they did not want to hear.

Some Hawk tool said he is just pro ISU which is funny because I have thought he has been overly critical of us at times this year and that he was probably more pro-Hoiberg or pro-Niang. But it's not like I am going to attack him on Twitter for it.

Do it!!!

Being in Omaha/CB they sound exactly like the entitled Husker fans who think every national broadcaster is out to get them. It's crazy how far the conspiracy reaches....in their minds.

I love how he takes them on and doesn't try to appease them just to settle them down.

At one point a couple years ago during a broadcast Fran alluded to Kansas using unsavory, and perhaps illegal recruiting tactics. It was fantastic.

He does seem to have soured on Kansas quite a bit, but I imagine for good reason. A guy in his position hears about some of the inner workings of programs. I'd probably have a hard time covering my disdain for Kansas too if I knew of the rapings and dog s*it that goes on in that program.

I guess winning what will be their 13th straight regular season Big 12 title just isn't enough for their fans anymore huh? Most spoiled fan base in the country

Yup, some fan bases start ripping the coaching staff, players, and fellow fans when things are not going smooth early in the season. Then when things get better, some write about how this passionate criticism is 'understandable'.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Remember when KU fans said they don't boo? That is exactly why Fran called out KU fans when they booed after an obvious travel against us. Fran said something like "Even Kansas travels" because their fans are so coddled. Pretty terrible life winning 13 Big 12 championships in a row isn't it KU fans?

Kansas "Fan" isn't on par with some of the other schools mentioned here - Iowa, Nebraska, Iowa State, etc., who are truly fans of their University (all have very good football, basketball, etc.) attendance, while K-Boo fan only shows up for what they win in - men's basketball,as evidenced by their BCS Power 5 Conference worst football attendance last year...I have no idea why we waste any time talking about these band-wagon riders....
