You're probably right, but I refuse to believe it until it is impossible for him to join the team. That guy craves attention more than anyone and he won't get it playing in whatever 3rd world league he ends up in.
Yeah that seems to be the consensus although he did have a huge fit over Connor losing Mr. Basketball and also dumped CJ on his social media I think.

I had joked for a while that the whole team was Fran's family, legacy family players and players who grew up in Iowa football fan homes. (nobody grew up a Lickliter basketball fan)
The third group might not even be needed to form a starting lineup. When this big a % of players are family members, you'd think more concern would be given to Devyn Marble's statement on the program.
Was Connor actually in the running for Iowa Mr Basketball? The best player in the state (or any state) is a 33% FG 3.3 points per game career player? That have been the worst high school class in Iowa basketball history.
So glad I tuned out KXNO years ago in favor of just this board and the podcasts on this site and a few youtube channels. Also have sirius Big 12 radio now which has ISU's official shows and the rest of the conference.
Well the kid who won it did end up at Upper Iowa IIRC. Yeah, really poor class even by state of IA standards.
The McCafe’s thought he was a shoe in. I am not sure if they give a runner-up or Miss Congeniality award for that honor, although no one in that family seems very congenial.
They ripped the guy who won instead because he went to a small school even though I think he might have been an AAU teammate.
I really only listen to Fanatics with CW and Ross. Ross really isn't bad for a Hawk fan. He totally panders to the tavern/t-shirt Hawk segment of the fan base, which makes sense because they make up the majority. It almost comes off as him teasing/trolling them a lot of the time though. I basically consider him an honorary Cyclone fan at this point. It is CW's show, and you can tell b/c he is a Cyclone fanatic. Ross is seems almost like just a casual Hawk fan, and definitely not the kind you want to shove a towel down their throat or cut off the keyboard fingers.
A player with Mini Mad's stats should not be a D1 starter for a year, let alone five.
Regional Champs. Would they do well in the top class at the high school championship or would they need to drop back a class or two?
not a dream lineup but that team would've beaten anybody other than Drake in Iowa last season.
