JBo had hip surgery tooConnor had hip surgery. Counting on him for much is a stretch IMO. Think of the ISU players that went through that. It can take years to fully recover from that.
He’s certainly better, but I don’t think Fran will bench Connor in his final year. That’s why I personally think this rumor that Joe T is gonna start is crap, bc I don’t see how both McCafferys aren’t starting next year.Lil McCafe is not great but better than his brother
JBo had hip surgery too
Yeah I thought he was trying to say that because Connor had hip surgery he probably won’t start.I think that was his point? Counting on him to score points against Oregon or defend anyone was a stretch
Yeah I thought he was trying to say that because Connor had hip surgery he probably won’t start.
Oh 100% I mean Fran played Connor at a high rate this year and his numbers were absolutely pathetic.I am not sure Connor has ever produced much so doubt there will be much difference so yeah maybe you are right
Reminds me of all the dads around here coaching little league so their kid automatically winds up on All-Stars, sure go nepotism if you want to not have school team. I am not sure it would matter much if he just started him, played him four minutes, and then played someone who sucked less, but think he gets a lot of minutes even injured
Jorbo might be worth 2-3 wins when he's hot from 3. His sloppy defense will probably cost them several more.We can laugh if we want but if JW comes back they’re not going to suck. They’ll be competitive.
@Sigmapolis disregard the quoted. I read that as Jorbo coming back means they aren't going to suck, not JW.Jorbo might be worth 2-3 wins when he's hot from 3. His sloppy defense will probably cost them several more.
I still think NIT is a realistic goal for them though, and definitely not a sure thing.
They probably thought about it but Margaret assured them that she would make Fran start them. The ultimate Fran moment is when both his kids transfer out to play at McNeese State because Bohannon stayed and started over them
The issue with this lineup is Joe T can easily turn the ball over at the top of the key, then JBo will have to scramble back to stop a fast break and I don't see that ending well for JBo.Apparently there’s been talk that Jordan will start at the 2 and Joe T will start at the 1.
1. Joe T
2. JBo
3. Connor
4. Keegan
5. Filip
Yeah I’m in complete agreement I don’t think that lineup works, but then again, I don’t think the lineup with both McCafferys works eitherThe issue with this lineup is Joe T can easily turn the ball over at the top of the key, then JBo will have to scramble back to stop a fast break and I don't see that ending well for JBo.
but they are Hawkeyes and thus super human. They could probably have surgery in the morning and play a game that night . . .Connor had hip surgery. Counting on him for much is a stretch IMO. Think of the ISU players that went through that. It can take years to fully recover from that.
Woooooooooooooooof.Apparently there’s been talk that Jordan will start at the 2 and Joe T will start at the 1.
1. Joe T
2. JBo
3. Connor
4. Keegan
5. Filip
That’s a 17-15 team at best.Apparently there’s been talk that Jordan will start at the 2 and Joe T will start at the 1.
1. Joe T
2. JBo
3. Connor
4. Keegan
5. Filip
Respectfully disagree. That team struggles to get to .500That’s a 17-15 team at best.
Only if they're playing Iowa State.but they are Hawkeyes and thus super human. They could probably have surgery in the morning and play a game that night . . .I live over here and that is all I hear.
Fran plays them when injured, then says they all need surgery when they get clobbered
