I'm having this same issue. I just had a couple estimates for repairs using pillars pushed all the way down to bedrock. Needless to say, I am looking for a cheaper solution. Our issue is a 6'x18' concrete slab "shed" that I guess was bolted to the foundation and garage floor in some way/shape/form by a previous owner. The slab is shifting pulling on the foundation which is causing the issues in our basement and garage.
I don't have the time or tools to fix the issues myself. Can anyone recommend a good general contractor to assess the situation and give an estimate to remove the shed and concrete slab ASAP? I've heard good things about Geisinger Construction.
