Foundation cracks due to drought

Drought impacting Iowa home foundations | Weather - KCCI Home

Anyone else having an issue with this? What are some reputable companies in the Ames area that can give an estimate for foundation repairs?
I'm having this same issue. I just had a couple estimates for repairs using pillars pushed all the way down to bedrock. Needless to say, I am looking for a cheaper solution. Our issue is a 6'x18' concrete slab "shed" that I guess was bolted to the foundation and garage floor in some way/shape/form by a previous owner. The slab is shifting pulling on the foundation which is causing the issues in our basement and garage.

I don't have the time or tools to fix the issues myself. Can anyone recommend a good general contractor to assess the situation and give an estimate to remove the shed and concrete slab ASAP? I've heard good things about Geisinger Construction.
