Not saying this is always accurate, but Chandler just got a crystal ball for Louisville a couple days ago.
Also, Andrew Ward is set for a Christmas Day commit announcement between Nebraska, ISU and Indiana. Signs seem to point to Nebby on that one.
I actually think that Jones is the silent commit. My guess on who they end up signing:

Cam Akers has announced his decision date to be Dec 27. I know ISU isn't relevant with Akers, but it might help our chances to hold onto Kam White if Akers chooses anywhere but Ole Miss.
I believe the silent is Tarique Milton. Fits the playmaker tweet and really is the only offensive position player (WR,RB,QB) the staff has on the board.
Fair, but they usually are not OL and most of the DB's we are recruiting have been ruled out.
The only thing I can think of is to let our coaches feel better. The silent commit really doesn't mean much more then a verbal commit because they can still change their mind.
I suppose it might help the recruit so he can still have a last minute celebration and still enjoy the excitement that the recruiting process brings. Might help take some of the pressure off. If a different coach knows you are committed or leaning one way they will really try to sling mud at that school to make the recruit second guess his commitment

I think the silent commit was a hoax created to generate message board traffic
Actually, im fairly certain that DeShaunte Jones did this last year, so certainly could be his brother.
But I still think Tarique Milton myself. Things have been quiet with him ever since he visited.
As for Knighton being a player people want, it's kind of telling that the staff is waiting to see who they land for HS OL before going all out on him.
