Football Scholarship Chart Tracker

Anyone know who the 4-5 scholarship guys are that weren't invited to camp? I would bet you can add those scholarships to the number available for next year's recruiting class.

That makes things interesting. It should be pretty easy for the media to figure out who they are.

CMC alluded to injuries as being a factor in the scholarship players who didn't make it to camp. However, there appears to be a scholarship departure today. Waiting until the info is public before I update the chart though.

I made a number of updates today:

1) The true freshmen who played have been moved from the "Redshirt" column to the "Freshman" column. There were a lot :D

2) Depth chart positions are updated based on the Iowa depth chart.

Let me know if I missed anything.

Chart is updated to include the surprise commit of Cordarrius Bailey. He had to be at the top of the staff's Leo hot board.

Updated with the Octavious Morgan de-commit. Won't be a huge loss if they can get another JUCO DB in. They have offered a few others.

Remind me here, will Campos be a Junior next year or Senior with this injury?
If he still had a redshirt to use, that's the type of deal that can be a blessing in disguise. If he's got 2 more years left he can be a real boss in 2018.

In a similar scenario, Money Reynolds comes to mind as a guy that broke his leg in 09, but still having him on the field in 2011 was huge for that team. Probably don't beat Iowa or UConn that year without his big catches in those games.

Redshirted already in 2013, I think the hope is for a an injury redshirt/hardship/waiver/whatever for a 6th year, IIRC.

Regretfully removed Quran Hafiz from the 2017 column. Could be temporary..

Moving Robby Garcia from DL to OL based on a change on the official roster.

Is there a thread that discusses, or lists, recruits that attend each game?

There is a thread on the 247 forum. I'm not sure if it's a premium VIP thread or not though.

Added Dan Sichterman to the 2017 commits column. Lots of DEs in this class!

Btw..this kid is going to be stud by time he leaves ISU IMO..His film really sticks out..He's fast for a DE. If he can put on 20-25 lbs he turn into beast.
