football recruiting

this thread is so stupid. everyone needs to relax. best thing to do is shut it down before we all get dumber for having read it. most everyone on here has contributed something to ISU. how much you give or help doesn't make you better than the next guy. not everyone has the resources. those of us that live far away dont come on here for ******* matches, its to keep up with ISU. put your egos away and stop measuring your manhood in cardinal and gold for crying out loud.

legi-you r right on. after my stroke of 14 years ago-i started the hobby of sending names to coach mccarney-i have sent news clips from the mcallen monitor,san antonio express news and dallas paper,too.... now all of you smart *******'s get back to the original post about football recruiting if you are intelligent to discuss that topic!!!!!!!

I just want everyone in this thread to know that I have already sent the link to Boomer's recruiting board thread to Coach Rhoads telling him these are guys he should recruit.

I did this to prove that I, Cyballzz and my 3 PHDs, am a better fan than all of you.

farmin clone call dan mccarney at north texas state and find out how many names i sent to him that he signed. call gene chizik and find how many names i have sent to him.call coach paul rhoads or bill bleil or former coach elliott who left us and find out how many names i send to iowa state. check with coach hoiberg and see how many names i have sent him the past couple of years. fred is kind enough to send soccer,girl's basketball,swimming,track cross country,wrestling to other isu coaches. if you want to check,call the coaches-check with hoiberg. i am a former isu wrestler. i could not play football because my knees were shot in high school.

does that explain i am an athletic supporter. i question what the hell you do for isu athletics. probably not a damm thing??? i send athlete's names every year of the year to all sports teams at isu. we missed out on one damm good qb in tyrone swopes. he is a cousin to cheryl swopes who was an all american girls basketball and an all pro lady basketballer...does that answer your f*****g question. what the hell have you done for iowa state. i have donated money to iowa state and to south dakota state,too.tell me you have done for the cyclones...

check out texas this fall when johnathan gray from aledo .texas , tears up a storm.sure in the hell wish rhoads would have recruited him. i think gray will be the best football running back ever if he can stay healthy. texas,california and florida have better footballers than the state of iowa. why does everyone recruit texas ,cal., and florida. tell me what the hell you have done for iowa state?????

So you and your vast knowledge scoured the high school fields of the nation, Yand then felt compelled to reference the number 11th ranked kid in the nation, yet were too scared to mention his name because you didn't want our competitors to find out?

You sound very in touch with reality. Do you send real emails to the ISU coaches or does your mom just let you send some nice pictures you drew with crayons to them? You should save yourself some time next year and just email Rhoads the link to the entire Rivals 150. I'm sure he'll appreciate your research.

Guys, you're flaming an older ISU fan who had a stroke that left him with one good hand.

As Guy (the actual character's name) says in Star Trek spoof Galaxy Quest: "Ohh, that's not right!"

I'm sure all coaches get lists and suggestions from many fans and boosters. You never know who is going to spot something you don't know about.

Yeah, Woodie went on a rant...that happens with brain injuries like strokes. Not all that funny if you think about it.

thank you shop talk. you are a gentleman and a scholar. when i asked about when we would get our first recruit for 2013. that was supposed the theme of the forum. every f****** smart @$$ started attacking my character.that's ok. let these dumb arses with their 2.0 at cyclone country attack, i have a thick skin. does not bother me a bit. i exercise every day doing water arerobics, play the market and still do some consulting to businesses. i spent my time in r and all my life. created over 2800 food products. in my last job, i was senior veep of a company that we took from 1 miilion dollars to 280 millin sales in 6 years,sold the company to dell monte processed foods in san francisco. worked 70 hours a week,travelled from chile,costa rica,all over mexico,the united states and canada..after we sold the company,i started my own consulting compand,had a stroke 2 years later. i am active now in oil leasing and wild cat drilling trying to make some extra stash.
it sure beats the hell out of farming but i still farm in iowa and in south dakota and still do some consulting in the US AND IN MEXICO.

You guys are starting to sound like hawkeyenation.com dbags. Wood is a great guy and was just throwing some recruits out there. What he does in his spare time has no bearing on your lives. Let's just take it easy. Wood is a die hard cyclone to a level that no one here can meet. I believe he wrestled in the 50's here? Cut the man a break. Just because you are a nameless faceless Internet user name doesn't give you the excuse to act like a ******. Talk to wood like you would to your grandpa. Respect.
