Football Parking

Anyone from the RV lots have any feedback on the D lots? Do they open the one with an exit after the games like the do after games? Do people setup canopies or play yard games in the grass along University? Or is that not gonna happen since theres no parking spots that are adjacent?

I have not
I called last Thursday, got routed around from the general athletics tickets number once the first person understood I was asking specifically about RV spot selection, and then they said RV emails have not gone out yet, but that they would soon. I asked if this week or next and got "yeah, soon"...
Seems like some additional information for 4k would be nice, but looking through my emails from last year, 5/3 is when I got my scheduling email for parking spot selection. Maybe I just caught the wrong person at the wrong time?

Remember that with the new lot, much has changed in terms of lots, available spaces, etc. Even who's requesting/paying for RV versus vehicle passes. I'd think the RV-specific info should be out fairly soon because it's not dependent on all the other vehicle parking.

I was actually just thinking of calling them so thanks for posting and saving me a phone call.

I think the who's requesting happens every year...I think my comment was more aimed at the fact that this is different than year's past in terms of breaking up the selection of spots, and with all this change, additional communication would be ideal, even if it is to say "hey, calm down friends, RV spots will be going out separately..." Clearly it would have stopped at least 2 calls and who knows how many post/nervous refreshes here...lol. Suppose this could be a case of either way someone will complain...

Glad I could help! I did feel a little guilty calling because I assumed I couldn't be the only one doing it, but man if I don't worry about missing an email or something happening to my request!

I think we're saying the same things, just different words. And, yes, I hope the communications get up to speed soon. The choosing seats still is to happen.

Thanks from me also. I was planning to call early this week.

Anyone know about where they are in the pecking order? Looks like so far just A4 / B6 / C6 are full.

They're really good lots as far as a quick walk to the stadium. Especially D4. The problem with D4 is that there's a ditch along University and there's usually water in it. Not a lot of room to spread out along that grass. I think that it gets better as you go north. Also, between the lots (D2-D3-D4) usually has water as well. So, if you are looking to do tents or yard games on grass, I would advise looking at D2. The other ones don't have much grass space around them.

Oh I'm not until next week, but if I knew where they were currently at I could get a pretty good idea of what might be left when it gets to me. I know one gold member going tomorrow morning, but wasn't sure if any of them would be starting today or not.

Thinking cardinal will fit mostly south of the drive.
