Anybody know what is going on with them? I heard they abruptly closed all their stores? Usually I wouldn't care, but they have a $500 check from me for carpet that hasn't even been delivered yet, and they didn't even call to let me know that the carpet and installation I paid for may not even happen? Anyone have any info?

I typed out a couple things, the decided to pretty much stick with what cyclonepride just said. They closed, which isn't a rumor any more, but the things I've heard over the past 3-4 months makes me sorry for anyone that just lost their deposit.

Good luck at ever seeing the money, sounds like to me from hearing the report on Channel 8 they are broke. Anytime you hear payroll checks bouncing, there are money issues.

Did the check clear yet? Call the bank and cancel it if it hasn't.

Update: We're doing what we can to cancel the payment, we're crossing our fingers that it hasn't gone through. It doesn't look great though. Thanks for the info everybody, you guys' insight has helped us get a grasp of what's going on.

I cannot stand people like this. Do you have any morals? Requiring all work to be prepaid from customers, don't pay employees, don't pay medical and 401K and expect to get away with it? I hope this loser is behind bars when this is all said and done.
