I just got a new car (new to me) and want to keep it in the best shape that I can so was looking for reviews/suggestions.
I've looked into WeatherTech and Husky liners. Any opinions? Thought before I spend that much I should see if anyone has anything good to say about them.

I've had a WeatherTech cargo liner for 2 years. Really happy with it. Wish I would have bought the floor liners at the same time.

this. if you plan on keeping the car for the long haul, spend the $$ and get the WeatherTech.

When I bought my Caddy I had the dealership throw in a full set of Weathertechs. They are great in winter & easy to hose off.

Just ordered Weather Tech for our Traverse today. I've used various other brands over the years but I'm looking forward to the custom fit.

What did you buy? I've got two sets of gently used Weather Tech mats for sale cheap.

Did I mention that I strongly recommend Weather Tech. :)

It depends on what you're driving nad your lifestyle. Weathertech will undoublty keep your floor clean, with that said they are not real comfortable. We have the weathertech in the wife's SUV but I prefer Lloyd's ultimate or Maxx mats in my own car.

Now that I think of it, I also had the husky brand on my truck and those were fine but they didn't offer 100% protection. The side of the carpet was exposed. Other than that they were fine and a little more comfortable than the weathertech. Keep in mind that the weather tech are HARD plastic that isn't moving. Great at holding dirt and rinsing them off but you're putting your heels on hard plastic.

My folks bought a new CRV and I got them Weathertech floormats for Xmas. They were kind of underwhelmed at the time, but after getting thru the winter, they really love them.

That said, they are stupid expensive. I don't own any myself, but to splash out for the folks, on their new ride (which was a big spend for them - and maybe their last new car), I thought what the hey.

I also have used WeatherTech mats in my car for close to 3 years and I really like them. I didn't have them for maybe the first 6 months and I could definitely see the wear on the regular carpet mats. This will definitely help avoid that.

do you stand while driving? or where's the concern with how hard the mats are coming from

Spend about 6 months driving a car with weathertech and then put good carpeted mats in a car and you'll notice a huge difference. It's like comparing a regular baseball cap to wearing a batters helmet. Not trying to slam weathertech at all because they server a purpose.

I've changed brands over the years and my last ones were Husky Liners X-act.
These are more rubbery than plasticy and thicker. I've also had the thin hard plastic Husky's before and have also ordered Weathertechs before.

Go to autoanything.com and just look at the different ones that fit your vehicle.

i buy the cabelas "brand" which are just a white label weather tech product. my truck gets abused through lots of travel so they are great. however they look a little redneck and lady friends may occasionally slip if they are wearing dress shoes.
