This is the point of the night that we all need to go back and read the threads we were in 2 months ago. We all knew it was going to be a rough year...... let's hope we can take what we can from this and build up and up
I agree, there was some guy in my section yelling at Chizik, congratulating him on his first loss. What a tool.

We can either laugh or cry. Things will get better. We just need to give it time. No matter how good of a coach he is, we need to get better players for it to matter.
"I want to thank all the fans ... over 47,000 and the students were awesome. Great atmosphere out there tonight." The Chiz is a class act...even in defeat!

This is the team he is coaching, HOWEVER most of the players on the team are not his recruits.
Actually they probably do have better talent at OL and DL. That is where we are lacking the most. You gotta give a new coach a chance to kick it up a notch in recruiting talented players.
The bad thing is that a one or two win season (we migth be lucky to get that), will make it that much harder to recruit the right players to upgrade our talent.
Next year will be a make or break type year for Chizik, in my opinion. Either start to pick up some momentum, or the excitement of a new staff will be lost with recruits.
If that happens, it's over most likely. Fortunately, our schedule is more favorable next year.
