FINALLLY!!!!........... JT ROCK.........

Why do you think I'm going to the Dr in 4 hours.

Just so you know, the way they treat that "condition" is getting a big syringe with a needle on the end and jabbing the affected organ to pull some blood out of it and relieve the pressure.

My wife said 90% of the time the sight of the big needle is enough to make the eggplant wither.

Someone needs to update the scholarship chart so I can how awesome the roster will be in the next couple years!

Watching his highlights, he'll contribute from day one so long as he picks up a few weights over the next 18 months. He's fluid for a guy his size and very offensively skilled.

Looks like a top 35 kid to me and wouldn't be surprised at all to see it.

The touch on some of his passes and finishes is surprising. Like you said, seems he just needs to add some strength and he has the look of a guy who can put on muscle.

For sure. I'm not going to ever doubt TJ either. I think just having a PG like Lipsey back and adding Jeremiah Williams in the mix makes it a lot easier for everyone else!
Excellent point. If you have a seasoned backcourt, the new guys have a little less pressure and can just fill their roles

Absolutely huge news! When is the last time Iowa State had a true 7 foot center? JT is extremely skilled as well. I said it in another thread but Kyle Green turned FAR lesser talents at Northern Iowa into incredible centers. I cant wait to see the success with JT. JT already seems to have a solid frame as well.
Georgios Tsalmpouris was 7'2". Do we count him?

I’m getting Baylor vibes from when Scott Drew took them from below nothing and then all of a sudden started landing elite players.

From the outside looking in I’m sure a lot of non-ISU peeps are baffled by his recruiting success and wondering how the hell this is possible.

In the past when ISU would have a top class it would usually fall apart (read:Tim Floyd) or we’d have 1, 4 or borderline 5-star and the rest solid but not heralded players or diamonds in the rough to fill out the class. Looks like those days are gone.

ISU will make a Final Four (or a few) before TJ is gone and, I think, a National Championship. The talent and coaching are so good now I believe it’s unavoidable.

Just an A+++ job. I can’t believe it.
And the best part is TJ wants to be a cyclone for life

I thought Williams was a junior?

Yeah I am really interested to see them out there at the same time. I could see the starting lineup being something like Lipsey, Grill, Williams, King Billew.
Then you have Hamilton, Milan, Watson, Ward and Jones off the bench

I think what we're looking at would be:

23-24
SR: Grill, King, Jones, Ward (assuming all come back)
JR: Williams (is there such thing as a medical RS now?)
Soph: Lipsey, E.King, Watson
FR: Hamilton, Billiew, Fish, Momcilivic

Room for one more transfer if no one leaves. I would guess a scoring guard or wing.

24-25
SR: Williams
JR: Lipsey, King, Watson
Soph: Hamilton, Fish, Momcilivic
FR: Indrasaitus, Rock

Assume Billiew is one and done. I would guess at least one more FR (Assuma?) and then 3 guys out of the portal. Gonna need some help in the post and maybe a wing scorer.

Next year we will be really young, after being really, really old for a few years. I don't want to put undue pressure on these guys but they have the pieces now to win the conference and make a deep run in the tourney, I truly believe that.

It seems like TJ's/Green's (defense) system isn't overly complicated as he's been able to plug in new guys pretty seamlessly.

Hopefully some things come together and we see some great stuff.

It's fun to think if ISU makes the tourney this season and then just builds more.

what are the % numbers?

Composite rating on 247 Sports.

I thought Williams was a junior?

He played a COVID year (doesn't count).

He played a "freshman" year.

He's currently redshirting for injury.

He'll have three to play starting next season.

He's effectively in the same class as Lipsey now.
