Feldman suspended by ESPN...

This says to me that Mike Leach was at least partially right in his conspiracy theory. I doubt this is over.

He is a freaking reporter! Let the man do his job!

On another note, I really hate Craig/Adam James...

The worst part is that Feldman received express permission to do this from ESPN, and they still ended up suspending him. ESPN is a joke. I have already sent a e-mail voicing my displeasure with this action. I think others need to do the same.

ESPN has a strict policy forbidding employees from speaking negatively about another employee. (ask Bill Simmons)

I don't agree with the decision either by the way. Feldman is one of the better college football writers they have.

But Feldman didn't speak negatively about anyone at ESPN. Almost all of Leach's claims are backed up with emails, a fact is a fact. Plus the book isn't about Feldman's opinion, it's all Leach's point of view.

Technically he wrote a negative piece about an ESPN employee (James)

Facts are irrelevent. Hannah Storm might not have been dressing properly but that didn't stop ESPN from suspending Kornheiser (a much bigger star than Feldman). When I say ESPN has a strict policy, I mean they have a strict policy. I think Simmons almost left ESPN over this policy because he took a crack at someone and they suspended him.

The reason I think ESPN made a mistake is most people wouldn't associate him with those words.

I must have missed this. Can you fill me in?

Did Kornheiser say a couple jokes about Hannah Storm's dress at one time and he was suspended?

Called her Hannah "Montana" Storm during PTI. Earned him a suspension.

Also have to love the standing policy that ESPN personnel aren't allowed to appear on the Dan Patrick Show due to some disparaging yet true remarks Dan made about the Mothership. :nah: Seems only Scott Van Pelt and Michael Wilbon have the cajones to stand up to ESPN.

The network is now saying that no such suspension ever was given to Feldman. "There was never any suspension or any other form of disciplinary action"......

Riiiiiiight.

Well he definately wasn't fired because they kept his blog on the CFB frontpage.

I doubt he wasn't suspended though because I have to believe he would have said something when the twitosphere blew up.
