Latest from Iowa Storm Chasing Network is pretty similar. They have 4 inches in Des Moines, with slightly higher amounts to the north and slightly lower amounts to the south. Indianola and south 2 inches or less. They have a 6-8 inch blob right around Ames and a bit to the North and East. Another 6-8 blob over by Iowa City.

Yup. And I distinctly remember that day as I had to drive the wife to the hospital in the middle of that snow storm to birth our daughter. The roads were terrible.
