Fear the Walking Dead?

Some of you guys really hate this show, but continue to watch it.

Chris has been messed up since his mom died and then killing walkers on the island showed him how easy it is to kill. He thinks everyone is turning.

Nick is a addict and drank the coolaid quickly partly because of it.

Daniel hallucinating was no different then the episodes in TWD with Rick.

I thought the episode was entertaining and I enjoyed it.

I liked it too... but every little plot part from last week went sideways in my opinion. Every single piece. I'll keep watching but I am losing interest as the plot seems messy.

Are we sure Daniel is dead? And what was Strand's little boyfriends death about? I have missed the boat on this.

Chris seemed to have issues from the beginning iirc. Wanted to go out and join the rioting mobs while sitting in Daniel and Ophelia's shop. Just a typical angsty teen-ager only with touch of psychotic nature

At this point I'm just continuing to watch it because other shows are wrapping up and there's nothing else on. To me, it seems the show has been dying a slow death from the pilot.

Too bad. Showing the apocalypse from another perspective had great potential and I hope they don't give up on the concept. This one seems to be going nowhere, though.

I don't hate it. But it's like a traffic accident - you can't help but wonder how it happened and how they will clean it all up. I just find it frustrating that there are NO characters (good OR evil) that I can enjoy/admire/respect/root for...

I thought this show had a lot of promise until they got to Mexico.

Nick and Daniel are two characters this show shouldn't lose. Can name several others to top the list. The father/ son duo for one.

Well, Travis and Chris are off on their own now so they can be eaten. Haven't really cared for them either. Would like to put Strand in the people that the show needs with Daniel and Nick.

Being able to watch it on demand makes it easier to watch the show. At this point I wouldn't be sitting around waiting for Sunday night. Incoherent plot with unlikable characters. Maybe if Chris succeeded in killing Madison. Man I hate her.

I dont even really hate this show. Ive generally liked it despite its flaws.

But this last episode just didnt work for me. Those are all the ways they 'explain' those things, but none of them rang true to me. All too fast or just didnt seem in character for them.

Also as far as the Daniel hallucinating similar to Rick... maybe, and that was a terrible choice by TWD in that portion of the series as well.

Did anyone realize that the old lady was simply a female version of early Hershel? Only difference is that she had a walled farm rather than an open one.

The writing is really hit and miss, but I thought there was potential for some interesting plot lines while in Mexico. Daniel all of a sudden getting PTSD was poorly done. I also can't imagine the boat is there, because that would be horrible from a story line perspective.

At this point, the show's best avenue would be to ditch the remaining cast and focus on Nick, "I Am Legend" style.

Ha, I didnt realize it came back on and now Ive missed about 6 episodes. Trying to catch up. We dropped directv some time back and got all discombobulated. This show definitely took a turn.

Thread bump...

Is anyone else still watching this show besides me?

Anyway, the first half of Season 3 just concluded, and holy cow, did this show step it up a notch or two.

I understand the criticisms of the show, although I've generally liked it from the beginning, but it became a really good show from the end of Season 2 to the point where they are at now, and I don't want to go into my opinions why as it would reveal some spoilers.

I gave up on the show when I realized there wasn't a single character I would mind seeing get killed off. And that was pretty early in season 1.

I had moments where I was disappointed they would survive. I didn't think that boded well for me watching this thing.

Glad it's gotten better, though, for those watching. That's a nice reward for sticking it out.

I haven't watched the midseason finale yet, but it did seem to be getting better the last couple of episodes.

This season was decent. I thought the midseason was nice because there was zero cliffhanger. It just ended on a semi-peaceful note. Will be curious where it goes from here.
