Coach Rhoads took part in a panel discussion on Inspirational Leadership for the Des Moines Business Record this morning. Loving the handlebar mustache!

At the end he laid out the guiding principals that his football program is built on. If he was looking for a 40 year old plus, 210 pound receiver who fears contact, I was ready to sign my letter of intent. Made me proud to be a Cyclone!

Nope...the real deal.

Said he shaved it this way over the weekend. When he came down stairs his kids said it was cool so he kept it.

Much more impressive in person. And no one there was man enough to tell him anything except it looked great.

Rhoads' offseason facial hair is always pretty bad-***. I wish he'd just keep it for the season. A handle-bar mustache would definitely help him cover some ground on Mike Leach in the cult-favorite college football coach rankings.
