FB roster update

Ive seen the tOSU guys out on the intramural fields working with their position groups every day, even Sundays (my bike route goes right past it and I stop to watch when I see Justin Fields, Chris Olave, or Trey Sermon out there) Each group has some kind of overseer/whistleblower/cone setter with them. It’s not like these guys are just isolated and not able to do anything or hold each other accountable.

Exactly, even if they were stuck home during quarantine the S&C staff had workouts that they could do at home or where ever.

It was pretty cool seeing the tweets about some of our lineman working in the fields during their time at home.

Someone is missing.

A new walkon named Chris Williams, a high energy good fundamentals guy from SW Iowa. Keep an eye out for him.

I don't doubt that. I also don't doubt they've been working out some. But I'm also going to doubt some of the guys put on 35 pounds of muscle in 3 or 4 months by working out at home.

With that said, every program across the country is in the same boat, and our team's culture probably has a tone set as strong as just about anybody.

Hudson at 360 pounds. That will be tough to play football at that weight. Hopefully he can trim down some before September. I worry about the kid's health at 360. Although I recall just coming out of high school he had weighed that much or even more, maybe.

My kids took pictures with Hudson when he was a freshman. 360 is a lot, but if anybody has the frame for it, it's him. Dude is just gigantic. I met Willie Roaf one time and he reminded me of him.

IF a guy like Hudson added some body fat, summer workouts over the next 10 weeks will take a big bite out of that...a guy that size can drop 25 pounds of fat in short order with controlled nutrition and hard workouts. On the other hand, if most of that is lean mass...which obviously weighs more than fat...the kid is going to be a monster.

Curious about these moves. Depth adds or is there something there?

I think that both were pretty much buried on the depth chart. If Kleinow was going to play on the OL, he would have by now. Might as well see if he can play DL. Sichterman hasn't played yet at DE and they keep bringing in good players there. I think that he could see some time in a Seonbuchner type role behind Soehner...and potentially start there after Soehner is gone.

@JStanz51 Any concerns that UNC transfer Greg Ross isn’t listed on the roster?

Just a guess, but he needs to graduate to be able to transfer and play right away. Maybe he needed summer school to do that. ISU has a second summer session that goes through July...maybe UNC is similar.

That’s some good 3-4 NT weight.

EDIT- Just looked at his height and yeah, I think he’ll be fine at OL especially at run blocking.

Richard Bowens no longer listed on the roster. Would have been a Redshirt Junior. He came here early his first year, always thought he would pan out. Sorry to see him gone. I see now he is in the portal.

Chandler Pulvermacher is also not in the roster. That came out a while ago but 100% confirmed now
