Italian Night Club at JJ is my favorite.

Quiznos is alright. I just don't like my subs grilled and greasy, so that's a big strike against them.

Subway is ok if I'm in a hurry and you can eat relatively healthy there.

Planet sub is pretty good, too.

Not really subs, but West Street Deli and Schlotzsky's (I don't think there are any in Iowa) are up there as far as sandwich places go.

But if you ever get to Delaware, try Cassapulla's....they are the real deal.

I was never a big Jimmy John's fan, and I stopped going there altogether a few years back when they tried to get the Gyro Stand shut down for not having bathrooms. Blimpies was open late, so that was my sandwich alternative if I wasn't in the mood for a gyro...which was rare.
