Alright boys and girls, it is time for another season of Hilton Magic.Tell us your favorite Hilton moments. I'll lead off
1. ISU vs. Missouri in the 80s Barry Steven's made it rain against Mizzou and cemented my ISU MBB fandom. Got in free from on a friend's tkt who had to study. I was poor and didn't have the $, after that saved enough to get season tkts.
2. The 20 point or so come back game against OU. From the outhouse to the penthouse in 20 minutes. Ears rang leaving that one:D.

No right or wrongs just your own favorite memories.

Coach Orr’s return to Hilton, Coach Hoiberg stepping off to the side, allowing Johnny to lead the way onto the floor, shaking his fist to the Tonight Theme song, and then beating #7 ranked Michigan! I was there with my son. Chills!

Went to plenty of rowdy back and forth games in the Hoiberg era. One of my favorites that people don’t talk much about was Melvin Ejim dropping XII record 48 points against TCU. Pretty smooth daytime game, and you could feel the buzz start to build in the crowd while he cut up the Frogs like hot butter.

At some point it was just automatic: he was getting the ball, and he wasn’t going to be stopped.

As I recall, an ISU gymnast finished a fantastic floor routine for the win just as an ISU wrestler pinned his opponent late in the meet. The simultaneous climax was incredible.

Fizer over Mihm probably the loudest I have ever heard Hilton. Video quality does not do it justice just how nuts Hilton went. That was pretty much the "we're for real" moment that season. The Iowa game that season too was pretty loud, we went up 13-0 to start the game before Iowa finally called a timeout and Mike Nurse had his hands over his ears it was so loud.

Would say hosting College Gameday is right up there in cool moments too.

I hate to brag, but it’s pretty impressive how many of these games I have been at. ;) I would say, from about 1991-1997, I was at half the home games. From 1997 through today, I’ve probably missed on average 1 game per season for work trips and luckily I think I’ve only missed 1 really great game—the one where Scotty kissed the court.

My favorites for different reasons that I attended:

1990 vs. Michigan
1991 and 1993 vs. Iowa
1992 vs. Oklahoma State-*
1992, 1993, 1995 and 2023 vs. Kansas
2000 vs. Texas Southern
2022 vs. Oklahoma

*-Oh My!

I was a kid, 8 ish years old in the '91 Iowa game when Fred dunked on Acie Earl.

Was super sensitive to the noise and was under a coat most of the game, turned out I had an ear infection haha. Not one of my mom's proudest moments since she took us to it but it's not like two hours were going to make much difference.

Otherwise my Hilton experience has been pretty bland/uneventful but it's still loud on a calmer day and imo a really great place to see a basketball game.

Naz Long's buzzer beater to send the game to OT against Okie State in 2014.
This. Snuck into Cyclone Alley (well past my student days) for this one and am in the background of this gif losing my goddamn mind.

I have so many like most, but I’d have to go with the Iowa comeback where Jok and Uthoff were unconscious. The other one has to be the Naz game tying shot against OSU after the missed free throw

Freshman year of college when we beat KU. It was Fred’s second year and Chris Babb hit a big three late to seal it. I was sitting in the 3rd row of the student section. The atmosphere was unbelievable that day. Storming the court was so much fun.
