Everyone remembers Eddie for Eruption, but the guy has never recorded anything that wasn't spectacular:

Now, I might not go that far. 1984 was the peak for them IMHO. They got too synth-pop for me with Van Hagar. Still some highlights, but nothing like the early albums.

Oh I know. Like I said, there are some highlights. Eddie just didn't shred as consistently after 1984. Just my opinion.
