This is the exact same order I am on too... To ad to #4, the best part was when Iowa savior Drew Tate got crushed for the N-number of times and started walking around all concussed and not knowing where he was.....
Outside of Marvin's run, the best part about that game was watching the Husker offensive lineman walking to the line of scrimmage with their heads down. They couldn't open a hole all game long and you could see they were beaten.
I'll stick to football:
- The George Amundson drive to tie the game against Nebraska in 1972 and what looked like the win with the extra point. The fans rushed across the field and delayed the game before the extra point. I worried about the delay giving the kicker too much time to think about it, and sure enough he missed it. But even a tie was a great accomplishment.
- The 1992 upset of Nebraska. The big Marv Seiler run to seal the win was what most remember, but the defense was the story of the day. Unfortunately most of the compressed replays of the game feature the offense only. Nebraska was coming off two dominating wins over ranked teams the prior two weeks. On the drive from Cedar Rapids to the game, I felt Nebraska would be overlooking us and I boldly predicted that we were going to win that day. I never make predictions, but it just felt like it set up perfectly for the upset. Nebraska was highly ranked and #1 in some computer rankings. We totally shut down their stud running backs. Tommy Frazier was in his first year and made a great play for Nebraska's only touchdown. It would be four years before Nebraska would lose another regular season game. Their 1992 and 1993 teams lost their bowl games, both times to Florida State, but they ran the table and won National Championships in 1994 and 1995. Looking back that upset could be more impressive than the 2011 Oklahoma State game.
- 2000 Insight.com Bowl win over Pittsburgh. The takeover of Phoenix by Cyclone fans was something to behold. Our first bowl win ever.
- 1998 win over Iowa to break the long losing streak to them and start a streak of our own. I was interviewed on KWWL-TV before the game. The asked if we had a chance and although I didn't believe it inside, I wasn't going to fall prey to the eastern Iowa media that is heavily biased toward Iowa. It was great seeing Kinnick empty out in the second half.
- The 2009 Nebraska "So Proud" turnover game with key players out and other playing sick. I was watching in a local brewery with my headphones listening to the radio. I'll never forget holding my emotions as I heard the play seconds before the video. It wasn't the prettiest game, but to steal a victory with a hobbled team gave a lot of optimism for the Rhoads era of Cyclone football. The "So Proud" video going viral was exposure you just can't buy.
- 2011 Oklahoma State win. Enough said.

The Oklahoma State game.
It was my brother's senior game. Long story short, we lost our mother to cancer in 2005 when Grant was a Freshman in high school. So she never got to see him play in high school or college. If I remember right, ISU only let players walk out with 2 people. In this case, I got to walk out with our dad.
Before walking out onto the field, Paul Rhoads gave all of the families a speech in the Jacobson Building. He was beyond emotional and grateful to not only the families, but especially this class of seniors. He didn't recruit many of them but they all bought into his philosophy 100%. After he talked, say what you want about the man, but damnit if I wouldn't run through a wall for him.
So we get out on the field, Grant and Paul shared a really special moment together then came to meet us at midfield. Obviously it was an emotional moment and @wesley_w captured all of it for us. This was the only picture I could really find where we're not all looking like we just got done sucking lemons.
Obviously, it was a special game, but the entire night is something I'll never forget. The yellow rose was for our mom as yellow was her favorite color. I hung onto the rose the whole game for Grant and ran into Jeremiah George on the field after the final gun and asked him to give it back to Grant.

Marv was such a good guy. He totally deserved that moment.
As a simple freshman, I remember going to a really cold game, sitting in the upper deck and sharing a blanket with a girl I'd started dating. About halftime, she put her hand on my inner thigh and I felt that something special would happen. However, she didn't want to leave the game early. God that game took forever and we lost by like a million points and we ran out of root beer schnapps and it was colder than sh*t.
So you did it in the stadium, or you just wanted to tell us about a girl putting her hand on your leg?
Neither. I just wanted to point out that it was a really bad game.
Mine would have to either be the 2005 Tornado game, or the basketball 2014 28-point comeback against OU. Another would be getting to meet Pete Taylor at the Nebraska game a few weeks before he passed. I was just a teenager but he could not have been a nicer man to me.

Football: Beating EIU at Trice in 2001, Adam Runk clinches the win with a late INT. Seneca played brilliantly, as he always seemed to do.
Basketball: 20 point comeback against Oklahoma. It all started when Isaiah Cousins got a T for taunting after putting the Sooners up by 20. It just got louder and louder with each basket. Niang ******* went off on them.
Honorable mention in football: First game ever at JT, September 1975 against Air Force. It was colder than a witch's tit in a brass bra. Lots of fans were huddled in the tunnels, peeking out to see what was happening. The north wind howled through that place like no other!!! Way to f'n cold for September.

Most emotional win: 1998 Iowa game no question, senior year of college, had gone though my entire 1st grade through high school having never beat Iowa, listening to the hok fans always saying how they clap for ISU when they'd announce scores and ISU was winning at Kinnick (before they had constant score tickers and smart phones) because iowa fans where so good. They just didn't understand why ISU fans always leave early when we would lose (we apparently were bad fans). Well after sitting in Kinnick watching the stadium have mass exodus in the middle of the fourth quarter was a little bit gratifying, Its easy to be a good fan when you don't lose for 15 years. Once it happened, you find out they weren't any better than anyone else's fans.
Biggest win: hands down Oklahoma State in 2011
Best game I have ever watched: 2011 Iowa triple overtime game, players were exhausted as were the fans. The greatest trade punch for punch i have ever witnessed. I think each side thought they had won that game about 3 times apiece.

the amazing stat of the game was that ISU dominated the time of possession 37:15- 22:45. Much of that came in the 4th quarter that seemed to go on forever.

Basketball: The 2015 Big 12 tournament in KC was incredible. I was there for a bachelor party weekend. We scalped great seats for the Texas game, right in the corner where Monte made the game winner. We all watched the OU game at Power and Light which was incredible. For the championship game, my friend and I paid $150 for upper deck seats but it was worth every penny to watch them beat the Jayhawks.
Football: The Oklahoma State game is a given, I had 50 yard line seats on about the 20th row. The other one would be Seneca's comeback at Iowa my freshman year at ISU. Walking out of that crap hole in IC with a win was amazing.

That game was amazing. Afterwards, a buddy grabbed a stetson from a NU fan (old guy to boot). The guy chased him all the way to the East Hall parking lot before my friend gave it up.
