Fan reaction compilation video

I’m 46 years old. The last time I felt like that during a sporting event was when my Boston Red Sox won the World Series in 04. Us older people have been through sooo much with Iowa State sports. It’s just had the feeling of THEM actually missing the field goal. Like what? Seriously we did it finally and they didn’t drill a 58 yarder and beat us in overtime because we missed an extra point. We have been through it all.

I'm absolutely astounded that you didn't have anything similar to last night, since 2004. The Okie State game in 2011, I literally grabbed my ISU flag and ran around my back yard and proceeded to get a ride from a buddy and we hit some bars in Sioux City, with the flag still on the stick, hanging out in the bar, drinking. And that tournament game after Niang broke his foot and we beat North Carolina and the crazy ending where they didn't start the clock as soon as they were supposed to and the officials had to look at it while everyone waited and we're jumping around screaming, "the clock ran out, we won!" Those are two that really jump out at me, over the past few years. Sincerely a diehard Cyclone fan!

I love knowing that probably all the people celebrating in that video went to ISU, or have a direct connection to the school.

Makes it more fun to celebrate with you all having that common thread.

Anybody have a link to the video of that “I can’t watch” guy last year at the Texas game for Assalleys winning FG? That was amaze-balls.

While these videos are fun, It would be better if the game ended like the game in 2019, with Iowa State making the field goal to win instead of having to be excited because of a missed field goal.
Semantics...the joy was the victory.

a few things. I would have done all
Of that but my daughter had surgery and I am her caregiver so I can’t go out right now.

also, the two wins you mentioned I did the exact same thing. I went nuts. Those were big wins but were not what this was. This was us finally being on top and not just a huge upset win. It was a different feeling. However, I think I hurt my back from jumping up and down screaming yesterday

While there have been several ISU games that were "go crazy" worthy since 2004, this is the first time Iowa State football has acheived this since 1912. This is in an all new level of accomplishment; more significant than any of those single game euphorias. This is simply a bigger deal (wrt Football)!
