Fall Classes

My fall's looking like this:

CPRE 458 - Real-Time Systems
CPRE 489 - Networks
CPRE 491 - Senior Design
CPRE 494 - Senior Portfolio
HIST 240 - Latino/Latina History
MUSIC 446 - Electronic Music Synthesis

and of course, choir and marching band.

Not looking forward to 240.... I very much dislike history classes, and no offense to anybody, but I have very little invested interest in this one. Just needed a diversity class and this one fit.

Yes actually... Boring? Hard? Both? I've heard a mixed bag

Easily the most boring class I've ever had and the hardest online class I've had to date. I don't know..I guess it's a lot more detailed than I imagined. I'm also taking a very heavy load this summer so it kinda got pushed to the back burner being something that can be easily redone. All I have to say is the lectures are torture.

Acct 284 Clem? any feedback on this prof
Acct 215 and feedback on prof Curtis?
Clem is one of the best professors on campus. You literally have to try to do bad in her class to not do well if you show up and half-*** do the homework and project.

Curtis is funny and his class is semi-tough, but you only have to get 100/200 points in the class to get a C. 3 exams of 60, 60, and the final is 80. Don't buy the book unless you're an accounting major or will be taking 316 because you don't use it. Just take notes in class.
Curtis
IcSyU,
What section of math 151 are you in?

C2. MRF 12:10-1 in Carver 0101 and Carver 298 for recitation.

This is pretty much the case. She gives you everything you need in each of her classes, you just have to put in the time.

Doran on the other hand I was not a fan of.

I actually like Doran despite what a lot of people thought of him. I had him for Intermediate I and I really learned a lot from him.

Why do they need an aide for a practicum course? All you do is send in your hours and write 5 journals...

I'll be doing a lot of NOTHING besides school
How and why are you taking two practicums in the same semester?

That sucks...Clem = top 10 professor at ISU easily.

Don't come asking for help from me either...I will purposefully tell you wrong just because I know your class attendance policy.

Once a week. depending on the hangover...

I might need help when I'm going through Intiation week at my frat. Chances of me going to any class is slim to none.

Pol S 385 was my least favorite class ever at ISU. If it is taught by Wessel-Kroeschell, then I would consider dropping it---I got talked to after class one day because I had been falling asleep and my occasional snoring was "bothering the other students."

HIS 336 is a class you cannot skip. The professor barely speaks English and he tells more of a story than a history lesson in class. I enjoyed it but I went through two full notebooks taking notes. Tests are ridiculously hard---u have to cite stuff that he said, notes, and stuff from the books. I think the highest I got on any test was an 87 but he obviously curved them because I got a A- in the class.
