No joke, my son asked me yesterday during the sprint if anyone has wrecked on the formation lap. Ferrari found a way.
I assume because they couldn't participate in the 2nd formation lap since they were in the garage for repairs and had to restart from pit lane. The formation lap counts as a lap so they were then automatically one lap down.
Anyone else find it funny that Leclerc had to basically go on a hike through wilderness to get back to his garage?
So who's staying up to watch Saturday night?

I'd stay up probably, but my wife would never make it, so we'll probably just watch in the morning.
Ouch, just looked up the start time. I'll probably try, I don't have to be up early Sunday. I really want to see how this track plays out.
I will go live pending how much I have had to drink. I might have to rewatch it Sunday morning
Even living on the west coast that's a rough start time. Practice and Qualy at midnight PST? I know it's Sin City, but I can't imagine there are going to be many people in the stands.
I wonder why they don't have it start at 7 PM or 8 PM. Still get the same driving down the las vegas strip at night visuals (which is what they are after, lets be honest), and a little bit easier on everyone else.

Probably because that falls in the middle of the night for the European market.
I assume that European viewership numbers are way bigger than the US.
