F1 2022 Discussion

Don't really see how Hulkenberg is an upgrade

He is probably a lot cheaper than Mick since Mick carries the last name. That would be my only guess. I would expect them to go with a young guy with potential. Not sure if I am right on that but I assume that might be why.

Forgive me if I'm a little too excited to seen an American back in F1. Too bad it's in that shitbox Williams but we've seen guys use that as a stepping stone over the last few years to a seat in Mercedes. Here's a little more background on Logan Sargent since we don't hear much out of the Americans that go over there to climb the F1 ladder there. One thing not mentioned in the article is that Sargent was the F2 rookie of the year this year too I believe.

He's won them two consecutive championships, I'm pretty sure they're ok with whatever maintenance he requires.
Don’t disagree there. Just think Checo has done everything they’ve asked and more- they finally got themselves the supporting driver they needed and yet here we are.

It's still Checo's seat to lose, he's been a good supporter for Max, but kind of disappointing a lot of the time in terms of being a competitive driver.
