F1 2022 Discussion

If you are looking for something to watch at this point on a Friday night Practice #3 for Australian race is now coming on ESPN2.

This is going to be a big deal going forward. I can see F1 becoming more expensive to watch in the US. I’m just hoping NBC doesn’t win. They tend to **** up international sports.

I really don’t want someone like ESPN trying to insert their own broadcasting crew either. It will probably mean the end of F1 TV in the US.

Quite a few ill-handling cars in practice. Even some of the "big boys".

I don’t know what the bigger surprise is for me here:
Both McLaren back into Q3

Or

Such a large gap between Charles and Carlos (I haven’t watched it back yet though so maybe there’s an explanation in there on that one).
Sainz had issues with his car starting so he got to the track late and had to qualify on cold tires. He was pissed about it.

Probably going to have drink a coffee to make it through this one. Actually watched Sochi live a couple years back which was like a 5:00 am start, I think? That was probably more brutal than this will be.

Honestly, I really dig the morning starts as an American fan. I know people think it sounds crazy but it really is a vibe once you’re used to it.

I may still be up but my wife watches too and she’ll be long asleep by then, so we’ll watch in the morning.

My wife actually doesn’t mind DTS, but I don’t think she’ll ever try watching a race. No idea how my brother in law got my sister in law to start.
