Extra Love for Pollard

It may only be Mediacom, but it's still probably more tv sets then the Longhorn Network! :wideeyed:

That's a good point. And it's amazing that it is probably true.

No way this is true unless you were meaning in Iowa only. I have no idea how big UVerse is in Iowa, it was pretty new when I left, but in Texas and I assume most large metro areas its a big provider. A LOT of people have TLN, whether they watch it is another story but it does reach a lot of tvs. Again, if you were meaning simply in Iowa you may be correct.

"Right now it is estimated that four million homes have the Longhorn Network." As of August.

Revisionist history. Chizik was a slam dunk hire at the time according to anyone with a pulse, just wasn't a good fit. I guess you could argue JP should have known that, but most thought that hire was a major coup. McDermott was praised by many as a solid hire, safe bet. And it's not like he was only winning 10 games a year, he just didn't light the world on fire. Cael was a homerun and there was nothing we could do about him leaving. Nothing wrong with that hire at all. KJ appears to be a miss, I'll give you that one.

Those were all outstanding hires at the time. Now, obviously they didn't quite work out, but that's true of most things
