Expectations for 2009

I'd just like to see us win the non-conference games we should win - which would also give is our first road win since Oct. '05...
I've only got 3 realistic wins NDSU, Kent State, Army
4 wins maybe...U of I (although I'd edge more to a loss) and K-State (which I'd edge more to a win)

No idea about the record. I'd just like to pick up a W away from the Jack. Here's hoping the team becomes Rhoad's Warriors!
It is hard to imagine us winning more than 4 games next year. We will have a solid offense. Have to wait to make real predictions until after the staff together.
Personally, I think Rhoads was left with some good young talent on this team, mainly on what should be a great offense next season. If that is true, and with the easy schedule we have next year, we should be bowling.
Of couse, the talent level on this team may be nowhere near what I think it is. If that is true, then we will be in for another rough year, and several more years of rebuilding.
Right now, I expect between 5-7 wins. If we have another 2-3 win season, I'm sure I'll try to write it off as the usual struggle that comes with a coaching change. But after the disasters the last two seasons, I doubt I'll believe it. We really need to show improvement next season to keep most fans onboard.
