I agree with much that has already been said on this topic -- eventually the conference needs to do this and also it needs to be done with diluting TV revenue.
What's the biggest Midwestern market the Big 12 is missing -- Chicago. I say the conference pulls out all the stops to bring in Norte Dame and Illinois. Maybe this is pure dreaming, but who knows for sure until you try. And if we could pull it off -- WOW. We could laugh at Iowa and Nebraska all the way to the bank. At the same time we would increase the academic standards of the Big 12.
