Sad day. Help a kid and then he invites in the world for all to see him kick us in the nuts.

Barnes will be ok. Rich and loved by all his groupies. I don't feel bad for him. He took advantage of ISU players and staff... looks like he's real mature.

We love you to Harrison.

And what really matters... I lost a pile of credits!
 
I will respect his decision, just as I respected and understood the decisions of Heinrich, Collison, and LaFrentz. However I don't respect the way he invited a bunch of Cyclone fans in today to pat us on the head and say thanks but no thanks.

I am no longer a Harrison Barnes fan. He goes to Ames. That is it. Should I pull for Adam Robinson and Jordan Berstein. They actually went to the same school as me and I won't root for them. Either your an Iowa State Cyclone or I don't root for you. It's that simple. Barnes can go to NC. I won't clap for him or cheer for him.
As far as him saying he will always be a Cyclone. Sorry Barnes you lost that when you chose to play for someone else. You will always be a tarheal now.

I have NO problem with his decision. Its his to make. Im not a UNC\Roy fan at all, definitely not. However i would have had no problem with it. Its HOW he did it and the WAY he went about it that i think has everyone up in arms here.

I understand that, I just always hope that we're better than that, and by we I mean you people, I'm not jumping off the deep end saying we should go to Ames High games and boo him.

I don't respect him at all. He used ISU's facilities, coaches and players and that is BS to me. In fact I wish him ill will at UNC.

Anyone who says they would have picked ISU is lying. You don't know until you've been in the guys shoes. He will do well at UNC and beyond and ISU will still play its basketball game tonight. Best of luck Harrison. I cannot wait to see you on the wrong end of the court in the 2011 NCAAs.

My only beef with the decision is him inviting the public. Don't invite all these fans whom you know are going to be for ISU if you aren't picking us or aren't sure who you're picking. That was by far the stupidest decision. I'm fine with him going to UNC if he wants but don't invite the public. When our cheerleaders and pep band are there, he has to know he took this too far. That was dumb on his part. If you don't know or know you are not going to ISU then don't lead them on, don't invite us to your press conference thinking we have a real shot at this.
