Seriously, I don't know about signing periods, but I think it is over. We shouldn't reveal any player now or Calipari might call them up and get them to change their mind. :jimlad: Mum is the word until players are enrolled in school, so they can't be poached.

Just by looking at their 18 under national only one player sticks out. He is a 6'8" forward. Only player to be invited to the Euro 18U All-star came last summer. Found this in a Euro Draft Express for 2010:

"In addition, there are a good amount of players on the roster with names that don’t roll off the tip of the tongues of even the most knowledgeable NBA international scouts. Some of them are draft-eligible 22-year olds, such as Romanian power forward Titus Nicoara, and some who are as young as 17-years old, such as Greek forward Linos-Spyridon Chrysikopoulos."

But he is only 17 so may not be him?

That's a good find, I think you may have it! I could see a 17 year old being eligible to play for this season. Seems a year early, but I think that they graduate earlier over there.
 
The other thing about being that young, he could probably use a RS year, which we'd be happy to give him. That's a lot of bigs in one class, so at least one of them will need to RS. Redshirt the Euro, bring in Uthoff and a JC PG to go with Cook and Odunsi and all of a sudden, the team is looking decent for 2011.
 
I have one small question: will he go near the net? I don't want another you-know-who. :smile:
 
What is your definition of soon? This thread was started only 6 days ago. Give it another week or two and more should be known (if not sooner).
