Quick question, is ESPNU like ESPN 3, where you can go to watch live link on ESPN's website and watch the game from there? I have to work till 7-7:30 and want to watch game, and this might be my best option.

Thanks

How does one go about getting espn 3? How much does it cost?

It is an agreement between ESPN and the ISPs. Your ISP must have the partnership with ESPN for you to receive ESPN3. There is no way to subscribe for the service (yet).

Ex. In Des Moines, Mediacom customers have access to ESPN3, but Directv subscribers do not.

You can use it if your internet provider is in partnership with ESPN3.com. For instance, here in Omaha Cox Communications provides it but Centurylink does not. So for those who use Cox, they can log onto ESPN3.com click Cox as their provider and watch til their heart's content. I am not so fortunate with my stupid Century link internet :realmad:.

Espn u games are not on 3. What would be the point of having people posy for I if the can get it for free on 3

I guess it's not. Thought I had watched one online this year but apparently that was a home game so I was there. Well that sucks!

The ESPN3 app on my Xbox works for this too - but sometimes the games don't show up until just before gametime...I've never seen a game that was on any ESPN channel that was NOT on ESPN3. Like another poster said - if you have Mediacom, you can use ESPN3 to watch online (via your computer, Xbox 360, etc).

I thought I remember watching a bowl game on ESPNU that was on ESPN3...

Way to be 100% wrong. I have been watching ESPNU games through ESPN3 for about 3 years now. And get this. The games that are on ESPN and ESPN2 are also available on ESPN3.
