I was watching the show this evening & as expected the panel of experts were spending so much time discussing the legendary status of the ND/Michigan game. I was about to change the channel because I'm so sick of hearing about that game, almost non-stop from the national media when one of guys on the panel says: "Is this were I say that the Iowa/Iowa State game was a better game?!.......Steele Jantz, Steele Jantz baby!"

Not much insight, just thought I'd pass along that ISU has been noticed by some national media members.

cue the "cool story bro" replies

"cool story bro" ......seriously!!

Hey, I agree 100% the ISU game was just as good. I think the only draw back is that Michigan/Notre Dame has a little more interest than ISU/Iowa...

Its unfortunate that game was on ESPN and ours on FSN. I credit 75% of the major publicity for that game from it being on their network. Sure it was good, but a 3 OT game between 2 hated rivals I believe deserves a little more recognition than our game was receiving.

Our victory was in the brief summary at the beginning of Sportscenter that night. That's about as big as it gets.

I saw that on Sat.

They skipped straight to the 3rd OT ISU TD and then showed the trophy being grabbed, and fans on the field..

I was very disappointed in their lack of air time, and the over abundance of cover of freakin ND and Mich.

You guys are ridiculous. Notre Dame/Michigan at the Big House in the first ever night game there. The largest crowd ever to attend a college football game. Denard Robinson. 3 apparent game winning drives in what, the final 2 minutes or so? All in primetime on ESPN.

We had a great game, but that game deserves a ton of credit and it lived up to the hype.

Hey, we matched their 114k fans with our first two games attendance. Take that ND

The ISU/Iowa game was better. The Michigan QB was throwing up prayers that were being answered, and ND was non-existent on defense at the end of the game.
