ESPN+ ISU BB Game Schedule

Fran didn't call our game last night. He does Monday nights.

That was his point. If the Big XII fails in 23/24 time frame you will be able to point DIRECTLY at this terrible deal as a major cause. I still can't believe the leadership was this dumb. They probably got some big time kickbacks if I were a betting man.

Exactly, instead of being able to watch what could have been his call of your game, I watched an SEC game because yours was on ESPN Plus. Had ISU been on ESPN or any of its linear platforms, I would have definitely watched. Ths Plus thing was horrible for our conference.

I've tried to explain this to them but they don't understand. When you go to streaming you lose most casual fans because you have to seek the game out. I randomly watch all sorts of other college basketball games because I hit guide, click on one, watch for 20 minutes, then watch something else, etc. I would never seek out a Mountain West game on a stream but I will watch them if they are conveniently on an ESPN or Fox network.

But streaming is really cool and we are really sticking it to these big evil cable companies by doing it and sending our money to a nice little start up streaming service called the Walt Disney Company.

I watched the KU debacle about an hour after it ended and it was in the “on demand” section. Not sure about what the options are before the game is over.

I tried to watch the Kansas game on delay and they had the game and score right on top of the first screen.

Ended up saving me a lot of time and heartache, but still . . .

So many people are eager to pay five dollars a month when they didn’t have to pay anything last year. And then once you are used to it, the prices will start to go up, and you’ll all bend over and take it with a smile on your face.

I agree, the future is unknown and scary. We should bring back the 1950’s.

I don't care about the $5 but idk how anyone can think this is a good thing for the big 12 in the long run. It's awful for exposure, I mean you had people on here saying they couldn't watch the ISU/KU game in Chicago. Losing exposure in one of the best recruiting areas of the country hurts. We have lifelong ISU fans that don't want to sign up for the app, I'm guessing not many hs recruits will either. We already have somewhat of a national brand but that would be a tough hill to climb if you were a rebuilding program.

These corporations are counting on useful idiots to defend them and their money grabs.
Wait, you're telling me ESPN is trying to make money? Get out of here! Next thing you'll try to tell me is that Jamie Pollard is trying to make money by increasing the season ticket prices to football games the last couple years.

Based on how the season is going, we should be thankful no one can easily find the games.

I heard one guy on here from Chicago said he couldn't get it. I'm not buying that. They don't black out certain areas for this app.

You get ESPN for free?

Worse than this is that ESPN and the Tx Longhorns set this up so both could make a ton of money at the expense of the big 12 splitting up....The smartest schools were Colorado, Missouri and Nebraska who said good bye to TexASS and their dictatorship alongside... bob "I love my hawkeyes" bowlsbuy!!!!

Well not directly, but in reality it blocks out a giant part of the country that doesn't yet have great internet. And it makes building a fanbase really REALLY difficult.

Yeah, I'm really afraid that a Hawkeye douche got together with OU and Texas and signed the death warrant for this conference. How convenient that they were left out of this fing joke.
