Agree. Biggest outlier in the poll.
Seconded by CMC and MensaMan being the only Big12 guys not wanting expansion (Riley didn't vote for some reason).

Campbell seems to be a fan of the current system and committee, given his comment that he says he understands the playoff selection better than other polls out there.

I find it interesting that Ferentz is against expansion, not because of fairness, but because he hates the marketing and meaning around it (and of not being in it). I assume that means he also hates the current format of having the Playoff at all...? I guess I would think that adding more teams would make it more valuable for viewers and teams alike, but he clearly disagrees.

Back in the day I heard Kirk state that he's for a "plus one" game.

And on this he and I agree. I don't like anything about the playoff and in my opinion we were doing just fine with the traditional bowls. In fact, the traditional bowls produced consensus national champions more often than they didn't...

Regardless, any controversy could be resolved with a "plus one" in which the APs #1 & #2 after Jan 1 meet in the national championship game.

The Harbaugh plan in that article would be interesting and fun. I don’t see it ever happening though.
