ESPN Bold Predictions for 2013 recruits

Yeah, but can he match Sullivan's free throw shooting percentage?

Sullivan's ankles were shot during his Senior year. I heard him say, some years later, that travel aggravated them, especially flying, and every time he'd jump, he would have to reach down and pop his tendons (I think) back in place. He had surgery after the season and was gimping around town with a walker.

In the end, Jake was 90% determination/hard work and about 10% athletic ability. He gave it all for ISU during a bad time.

Jake was a special shooter, and maybe even scorer as he had a nice mid-range game when he would step under a defender trying to run him off the 3 point line, and added a nice floater. he was a real competitor with fire in his eyes and the willingness to help where needed (remember the experiment with him at the point?) However, Jake was abused on defense. Tyrus will not be remembered as a lock down defender, but his ability to make hustle plays turning 50:50 balls into 80:20 balls made him stand out.

And Thomas' high school coach, when asked about his defenese was quotes as saying something like, "We ask Matt to make shots, he's not here to play defense." IIRC, or something similar.

i don't know why people keep posting that - its not true.

Pretty sure Jake does more then help coach Kingdom Hoops. That is his AAU team.

My bad. I watched them in a tournament in cedar falls and jake wasn't there that weekend, so I wasn't sure how involved he was. I didn't realize that was actually his team.

Watched Thomas at state, even though he's not going against great talent, he was very good on defense. He'll be fine on that end of the floor, an upgrade on McGee.
