went to the hawkeye game today, most epic meltdown ive ever seen.

best part, which isnt good, but as far as meltdowns go, some fan said best thing about today is that we never have to see stanzi step foot in kinnick again, ticked off the guy next to them and the guy punched him in the face, broke his nose at the very least

Never seen such epic fighting between fans and meltdown in general

They have hyped themselves up to the point where an 8-4 season has wives in legitimate danger of being beaten. Reminds me of the five years I lived in Nebraska, seriously that's what it's like there, Huskers lose... people get hurt.

That's just funny. Stanzi is one of the best QB's Iowa has actually had in a while...

Then again, they always have a few fans that think their QB is going to win the Heisman when they play well, and the worst thing on the earth when the play poorly...

What is funny is the Cyclones are playing a game to get to bowl eligibility AT HOME and yet a Cyclone fan is at the Hawkeye game, who is getting the last laugh?

Why not? My family does stuff like that all the time. Cyclone and Hawkeye fans in the same family. Watch one game in person, catch the other on TV. Twice the football, why do you hate football?

I was at the NW game last week and saw 2 Iowa fans fight each other during the final drive. I also saw 2 different Iowa fan fights when they played at ASU a few years ago.

I don't know, maybe because ISU has more riding on their game then Iowa did. A win or a loss wasn't changing much for Iowa in terms of standings or bowl game, but a lot is riding on an ISU win is why I would choose to go to the ISU game instead of the Iowa game if I had family that was fans of both teams.

And where in my post did I say anything about hating football?

whos getting the last laugh? who would rather see two top 25 teams go at it,
or a mediocre ISU team against a above average missouri team
And for your information i dont live close to ames and couldnt be there but have been to 3 games this year and two away games so dont question whether im a fan or not

This Iowa season has really turned ugly the last two weeks. I know there's no way in hell they lose to Minnesota but in the rare chance they go up there and lay an egg, watch out for a Chernobyl meltdown

I like the OP's story. Last year they loved their coaches and players. This year they hate them. I know we have those fans as well, but Iowa has many more that are that way. BTW, Stanzi is the most effective QB they have had since Banks.

Is it the Joker? I honestly don't understand why you're up in arms about this.

I'm not up in arms about this, I just find it funny as hell that ISU fans give Iowa fans crap about their basketball attendance, yet ISU is playing for a bowl game AT HOME, yet an ISU fan chooses to go to the Iowa game that was meaningless instead of supporting their team.

My God -- you would never catch me at a Squaks game. As far as distance -- what is 2 hours in a car? Pretty weak excuse -- you either bleed red or you don't I guess. Particularly on a home game weekend.

It was really quiet the final seconds and after the game. It doesn't seem like people are in too bad of spirits. Wisconsin aftermath was a meltdown.

Thanks, but please explain how ISU fans can give Iowa fans crap about basketball attendance and not supporting their team when they know their team will suck, but yet an ISU fan goes to an Iowa game when ISU is playing for a bowl game and not support their team? If you can give me a reasonable explanation I will be gone.

Maybe spending time with friends and family is important. Just a guess.

Free will. The end.
