Elite 8 Game Times?

5:00pm and 7:30pm (Central). Both on TBS.

Edit: Mistakenly said CBS before. Saturday Elite 8 is on CBS. Sunday is TBS.

North Carolina and Providence played their 2nd round game that started at 9:40 p.m. in Raleigh on a Saturday night so starting a game at 8:30 local time seems right.

The Duke Sweet 16 game is starting after 10:00pm Durham time on Thursday, too.
 
There is nothing more traditional about the Ncaa tourney than Sunday night Elite 8 games on TBS. I like how some of my favorite sporting events like March madness and baseball playoffs have been relegated to basic cable.

In an age where pretty much everyone under the age of 60 has an idea of how to access these events either from their internet or cable plan, does it really matter?
 
Yes it matters, I like tradition.

I dont like 2 hour selection shows for the purpose of forcing viewers to watch in an attempt to make more money. I dont like clowns from the NBA trying to comment on college games they know nothing about. I dont like 68 teams instead of 64 in an attempt to add 4 more at large teams to get viewers for the play in games.

And I especially don't like turning to CBS for the national title game, which Ive done for my 30 years of watching college basketball and find out its now on TBS who does absolutley no college basketball games the entire season.

I also think its funny when Fox bought the rights to the BCS bowl games a few years back after covering exactly zero college football games all season.
