Iowa State isn't going .500 or below. Fans will fill Hilton excited for the new coaching staff and the highly touted recruits. Iowa on the other hand...get those free pizzas ready gonna need em to get 1,500 fans in there.

I think we will next year actually. Lots of new pieces and the Big 12 is the best conference in CBB. We have potential for the future because our coach can recruit high schoolers and the transfer portal. Fran can do neither
So losing a possible Kentucky caliber player, losing a Xavier caliber player, a generational player of the year, at worst a European pro, and a record setting guard, and you think they'll be close to .500?
In the B1G and with their non-con, they will always at least flirt with .500. JorBo could coach the team and they would have a shot at .500.
Even though their troll game is weak, I admit I sort of loved the way they all piled in here to take their shots from the time the Hawkeyes' seed was announced, only to have their presence evaporate in about a week.
Deep down, they knew they were going nowhere. Had to get the shots in while they could. At least you can respect that from strolling perspective.
But to not stand in now, when it has gotten so much worse for their basketball program, just proves what little bi+ches they are as fans.
Yeah, it wasn't like a lot of ISU fans expected ISU to be a bubble team last year. Oh wait...they did. Fans will always have huge expectations for their team. It comes with the territory.
