It is so close but so far away for me. I wanted him, but now see the connections with the ISU staff and see the openings. The writing is on the wall. ISU bound top 3 Big 12 class in 2022.
I agree TJ is an elite recruiter. I disagree that Iowa couldn’t pull someone like King.
I was on the fence. Happy that they landed a guy that was below .500 in the WAC, but nervous because he was the bomb in the Summit. Then I researched how he recruits and boy, It will be hard for Iowa to prepare for the storm that is coming from the west.
Lipsey, King and a certain PF I won't name from the East Coast would be an amazing class. Moot point though because King is an Iowa lean and Lipsey could have his choice of schools if he waits until the fall
We cannot pull someone like him unless he grew up a fan or has a family connection. If he was a big from the East coast we would have a really good shot.
Do not tell me Flipowski(sp)? He is the prototypical Iowa guy too! He would bring you guys to top 15 nationally in 2022.
