Anyone had any experiences with cordless electric push mowers? We have a fairly small yard a little less than a quarter acre. Pros I’ve read are clean, low maintenance, and quieter than gas powered. Any advice or recomendations would be appreciated. Thanks

Neighbors have a cordless, it works pretty well.
You could consider a reel mower too, especially if your yard is flat and relatively obstacle free.

I have one as well. I like it but you can't let the grass grow too long, or you'll end up borrowing your neighbors power mower.

Is your yard very hilly? Biggest knock I've heard from those I know who've used them is the lack of giddyup. And I don't think they're usually self-propelled, which would suck if you've got hills to deal with.
I have a greenworks 40v push mower that works great. i have had it for three years. Also have greenworks trimmer that works great as well.

One of my neighbors has a Ryobi one, and it seems to do okay. It is quiet, almost freaky. Does a good job of cutting, from what I can tell.
Our new neighbor has a blue one (kobalt maybe?) and it seems to struggle with any more than like 0.5" of grass removal. Looks like crap, too.

I have a corded electric mower and I have no complaints with it. If you have a small yard you won't have any problems if you go electric.
If it's not made by Dewalt or HItachi electric power tools suck for the most part.
I don't have a Dewalt mower, but my Dewalt Hedge trimmer and leaf blower are fantastic tools. Along with my drill and impact.
Take the same batteries also, which is great.
Ya choose a brand and stick with it. DeWalt, Hitachi, and some of Rigid's stuff is pretty decent anymore. Most companies are releasing these 60v batteries, which then can be combined with another 60V to operate table saws, chop saws, etc. Pretty crazy time we live in. I almost exclusively buy DeWalt, but I love Hitachi miter saws.
I bought a Ryobi and it worked well last year. My lawn is roughly the same size as yours. I was able to mulch and get the yard done in one charge if I hustled
This season...yikes. Grass is growing faster than the mower can keep up. I can get 1/2 done at one shot.
I'm mowing a lot this season. Recommend a second battery if you find it won't finish in one charge.
Not 100% sure I would recommend. Love no gas. It is truly quiet. But it just doesn't have the power of gas
I have the Ego 21inch self-propelled mower LM2102SP and it works very well. I am on my third season with it and have had no problems with it. I mow about 3/4 acre and parts of my yard are hilly. The mower is quiet and I can easily listen to my headphones while I mow. The mower has plenty of power and I mostly use the mulch mode. It does have a bagger which I use in the fall for collecting leaves. I got the mower at the Home Depot when it was on sale. I was told Ego customer service is very good. The mower has a 5- year warranty and the battery a 3- year warranty. Home Depot will send the mower to Ego if you ever have a problem. I do not miss dealing with oil and gas and especially don't miss inhaling the toxic exhaust fumes of a gas powered mower.

Also have the Ego 21-inch mower. I’ve had it for a little under a year, and I love it. I easily do my quarter acre with battery to spare. My garage is a little tight with both cars parked in it, so I like that I can fold it up in addition to not having to deal with oil and gas. They also go on sale at Home Depot relatively frequently.
Ego has also got string trimmers, leaf blowers, etc. which use the same batteries. I have their string trimmer and have had no complaints with that, either.

When my gas mower goes out I will look seriously at an electric. Nearly same situation with the snow blower but with that I am more concerned with the potential lack of power.
Already have a Ryobi string trimmer that I have no complaints with.
