Electric dryer recommendations

Another Speed Queen household here. Though, honestly, I'm not sure I can say their dryer is any better than anybody else's. Most people don't really complain about dryers too much.

I also agree that the dryer may be hard to compare with other dryers. Ours does a great job, but the washer is more important that the dryer in my opinion. I just like the durability/simplicity of Speed Queen. I would make sure to have your dryer vents cleaned which will drastically affect performance. We were having issues so had ours cleaned and found out by doing that the builder didn't connect the dryer vent (which the cleaning company told me is quite common). They ended up fixing it with the cleaning and it was a huge difference. It also reduced the fire risk.

I agree with this. A couple we are friends with have the Speed Queen suite and it’s pretty cool. HOWEVER, depending on what your house/condo/apartment set up is, having the WiFi washer/dryer that alerts your phone when it’s done is a game changer. Nothing worse than going 3rd floor to basement only to find out there is 7 minutes left in a cycle.
