Interesting that Bibbs is the only one on here. I figured there might be more just since this seems a little more stable than the AAF

This isn't the full list. They're going to release more names every day between now and Friday. I'd expect to see a few more ISU names pop up by then.

I agree 100%. I think the AAF had it right with their model, and they seemed to have a decent amount of good college players who for whatever reason didn’t stick in the NFL. This group is much worse than that

Trey Watts was the RB for Tulsa when they beat us in the Liberty Bowl

Jonas Gray bounced around the NFL for a bit. I was kind of surprised to see him on the list because he's been around for a while - his wikipedia page says he's 29 years old.

I vaguely recall Devine Redding being a pretty good RB at Indiana.

Trey Watts was on the Tulsa team that we played three times in like 12 months.

Frank Alexander from OU was a good player, and Heaps at KU got some hype as a former 5-star transfer.

I think they have the right idea in not adhering to the NFL's three year rule. Maybe they can lure some high profile underclassmen to play professionally for them for a year or two. You have to give the viewer a reason to watch; nobody's tuning in for scrubs and has-beens. But it'll be an uphill battle convincing any kid to bail on a big time P5 program for a startup league no matter how much cash you flash at them.
