I think it's noteworthy news. Anytime someone that has a very public job gets fired from that job, it is news to me.

It's going to get to the point where you aren't going to be able to have your picture taken in public for fear of what facebook profile it's going to show up on and who is going to use it to attack, or just innocently post because you thought it was entertaining.

There is no slope, putting something on Facebook is similar to standing on a street corner and doing the same thing.

These weren't posted by Ed, on Ed's facebook page.

Anybody, anywhere, anytime can take a photo of you in public, with or without you knowing and THEY can put it on THEIR facebook page and if you have any sort of public position, a firestorm can ensue.

You don't even have to be sloppy drunk, one photo, capturing just one instant in time, with no context can look pretty bad. As someone who has a job visible to the public, this is pretty scary and could easily happen to me or anyone really.
 
From what I have heard the pictures are just a piece of the story. Aparently he was pretty much drunk the whole week and even went on some Tampa area and Iowa radio shows drunk...

It's called different people with different viewpoints. Just like you don't want us lumping all hok fans together, I don't think you can lump all Clone fans together either.

When you are a public figure, this goes with the territory. Eddie understood this or should have. If you don't like the spotlight, stay out of it.

Guess the Eight did not want to mention they already had a chainmail going around eastern iowa for the previous three days. That was unofficial. That was good ole boy stuff until he hit the website when Gary had a coniption.
